Ariel Motor Company burst into the world in 2001 with its radical, exoskeletan chassised Atom sports car.
The Atom has always been one of the most visceral driving experiences, and the company has evolved and refined the concept over the years. Ariel has expanded beyond sports cars as well, applying its design principles to the Ace motorbike and the recently announced Nomad off-roader.
Ariel is based at a surprisingly small facility in Somerset, where it designs, engineers and assembles its vehicles. Only Motors paid a visit to the facility to find out what’s what.
