Bentley Continental GT Breitling edition unveiled

I doubt there’s ever been a more perfect brand tie-in than this one between Bentley and Breitling.

The Bentley Continental GT Speed Breitling Jet Team Series is inspired by the watchmaker’s air display team. Each of the seven cars is painted the same silver and black livery with highlights in Breitling’s signature yellow as the the seven Albatros jets.

Inside, there’s unique seats, carbonfibre dash fascia displaying an image of the seven planes in ‘Avenger’ formation, logos and graphics on the headrests, numbered plaques and much Breitling yellow detailing.

Geoff Dowding, boss of Bentley’s bespoke department Mulliner, said: “The Continental GT Speed Breitling Jet Team Series demonstrates the level of customisation Mulliner can achieve for customers. Creating this very special edition has been an exciting experience for the entire team.”

All seven cars have already been sold for an undisclosed sum, probably somewhere in the region of A Lot. They will be handed over at the Boeing airshow in Seattle at the end of July. But not until the owners have had a ride in one of the display team’s planes. And changed their underwear.
