If you fancy a day out a car museum, four will probably spring to mind straight away: Coventry, Beaulieu, Heritage Motor Centre and Haynes.

But if you dig just a little deeper, there are loads more dotted around the country. Like the Cotswold Motoring Museum.

Located in the pretty little village of Bourton-on-the-Water, the museum has a wonderfully eclectic, even eccentric, collection encompassing just about every era of motoring.

It’s not just cars, either. There’s bikes, caravans, toys, props and ephemera; more than enough to occupy a good chunk of a day. It’s the home of Brum too, which will get those of a certain pretty excited.

Museum manager Michael Tambini gave Only Motors a guided tour.

Web Editor

Graham King is the web editor which basically means if it's on this site and it looks great then he had a lot to do with it. If it looks rubbish then that was done on the one day a year he had off. As a quiet man who loves everything about cars, Graham is not known for his talking or walking which is actually kind of ironic because his name appears in both words. Currently you will find him clicking on a mouse vigorously and uploading his passion all over the site.
