We meet a rising star of the drifting and Gymkhana world, Luke Woodham.
Luke started doing handbrake turns in a pedal kart when he was a kid. He progressed onto motorcross bikes and spent his teenage years working as a bike mechanic.
Then he had a revelation that sliding a rear-wheel-drive car around was fantastic fun whilst at a track day. Subsequently he was introduced to barrel sprint racing, where Luke developed his driving skills. He would go on to start competing in drifting and Gymkhana events and he’s now one of the few professionals in the UK.
