As with any motor show these days, there is always at least one manufacturer who suffers from a leak prior to debuting a new car. Images of the Mercedes SL leaked and now the Mazda CX-9 has also leaked.

Unfortunately we don’t know many particular details on the CX-9 yet but we will get a complete look at the next-gen Mazda CX-9 when it debuts at Mazda’s press conference the Los Angeles Auto Show at 1:35pm PST (9:35pm GMT).

So until the reveal tonight we will have to settle for these newly leaked images from Carscoops.

The Mazda CX-9 is quite the looker sporting more of the same handsome, striking looks that befits pretty much the entire Mazda range these days.

The Mazda design language across the range is incorporated into the CX-9 with particular styling cues of the CX-3 and CX-5 featuring across the body.

While the images don’t show the entire front grille, we can see that it appears to sport the same bold grille that others in the crossover range also fashion.

At the rear we can see more familiar design with some fairly slim rear lights, similar to that of the CX-3 and CX-5 but the CX-9 separates itself with a thin chrome strip that connects both the rear lights and provides a premium finish.

Inside the CX-9 is where it continues to shine. One of the leaked images shows three rows of seating with adequate space for adults on all rows. The interior design continues to resemble the great style that features across the current Mazda range.

The Mazda CX-9 in the images features a number of different trim materials and colours to highlight the interior design elements customers can finish the car in.

While most other Mazdas feature a fixed infotainment system, the Mazda CX-9 gets a system that rises up from the centre of the dashboard. All in all the Mazda CX-9 looks like quite the luxurious vehicle.

Powertrain details are scarce but of course more will be revealed in due course over the coming days. What you can expect it yet another good looking, practical Mazda that offers good value for money.
