Meet the Ferrari Sergio

Ferrari’s Tailor Made bespoke division has been rather busy this year, creating the one-off F12 TRS and limited-run F60America.

Its latest project is this, the 458 Spider-based Ferrari Sergio. It commemorates the long-standing relationship between Ferrari and Italian styling house Pininfarina. The name refers to Sergio Pininfarina, son of company founder Battista ‘Pinin’ Farina, who cemented the relationship between Ferrari and Pininfarina.

The front and rear have been radically restyled over the standard 458, with a lower, pointier nose and sculpted rear. A rollbar replaces the Spider’s folding hardtop, flowing seamlessly into the rear deck.

The result is a pared-back, race car-esque aggression. And, not to beat around the bush, it’s bleeding gorgeous. The interior is suitably racy, as well.

The beast is powered by the volcanic 597bhp, 4.5-litre V8 engine from the 458 Speciale, delivering 0-62mph in just three seconds. Top speed will surely be on the far side of 200mph.

Just six Ferrari Sergio’s will be built, each built to the buyer’s exact specs. The one pictured has gone to a collection in Dubai.

The price? Probably around $3 million.
