New Aston Martin Vulcan vid will blow your speakers

You’ll know by now that the Aston Martin Vulcan is an astonishing machine; a track-only missile with an 800bhp, 7.0-litre V12 engine under the bonnet and a £1.8 million price tag.

But it seems we may soon see Vulcans on the road. Motorsport engineering specialist RML is devising a kit that will make the Vulcan road legal. It won’t be an easy process and will really only be viable in markets that allow single vehicle type approval – like the UK.

Right now, there’s this new video Aston Martin has released of a Vulcan tearing round Highlands Motorsport Park in Zealand – it’ll be on display in the museum there. We noticed something amazing about the video, though. The searing V12 motor is so loud that it overpowered either our speakers or the microphones used to record it. Best to watch this, then, on a massive surround sound system.
