Nissan Rogue Star Wars edition

IT’S Nissanakin Skywalker!

Well, not quite. But the Japanese car firm have definitely entered the Dark Side.

This is a special edition Rogue named after the latest Star Wars film Rogue One and it’s been unveiled this week at the New York Auto Show.

It’s already our favourite car of the NYC event.

The actual Rogue model is pure black, as you’d expect, and a few Star Warsy badges and name plates. No lightsabers, Death Maul coloured headrests or Chewbacca seat covers unfortunately.

But the show car is the one they should put on the road. It’s got the full works inspired by an X-wing fighter including thrusters, blasters, side mirror Rebel logo projectors and even an astromech droid. I don’t know what that is but it sounds mental.

There’s also another concept at the show too – a 2017 Nissan Rogue wrapped in special orange and white graphics and logos, inspired by an X-wing pilot’s suit.

We want Nissan UK to come up with a Millennium Falcon edition of the Qashqai. Please.

According to Nissan, the Rogue is the first-ever car to get a Star Wars special edition.

We are sure a few other firms could do their own. Perhaps a Yoda Octavia, Citroen C3P0 or even an Mazda R2D2.

This Nissan Rogue is going to be a huge hit, of course. It’s got the force.
