The Mercedes G63 AMG isn’t exactly inconspicuous. Well, it’s a 540bhp military vehicle with sidepipes, so how could it be?
And yet an industry has sprung up around making the G63 louder, more powerful and more visually, err, impactful. British firm Prindiville is the latest to apply its own brand of style to the G-Wagen, with a 30-piece carbonfibre bodykit.
Prindiville’s bodykit consists of front and rear bumpers, front grille, front and rear light surrounds, bonnet bulges, side skirts, door handles, rubbing strips, mirrors, air intakes and spare wheel cover, all rendered in military-grade large weave carbonfibre.
An extra 50bhp has been liberated from the engine with a tweaked ECU and a Prindiville exhaust. Gearbox and brakes have beefed up to cope and the thing rolls on a set of huge six-spoke wheels.
Buyers can “express their personal preferences” for the interior, so the sky (or wallet size) is the limit. The bodykit can be applied to any G-Wagen, new or old.
Including the £130,000 cost of a brand-new G63 AMG, the Prindiville Indomitable G will set you back at least £250,000. Only a limited number will be available, so be quick. If you must.
