Starting from 18th place in Race 1 didn’t stop Rob Collard from leaving Thruxton as joint championship leader with Matt Neal.

After a typical lightning start, Rob scythed through the field up to sixth place in the first encounter of the day. Another fast start and a strong pass on Adam Morgan netted second in Race 2, while another sixth-place finish in Race 3 rounded out the weekend.

Only Motors’ roving BTCC reporter, Lewis Maundrell, caught up with Rob after his Race 2 podium finish.

Web Editor

Graham King is the web editor which basically means if it's on this site and it looks great then he had a lot to do with it. If it looks rubbish then that was done on the one day a year he had off. As a quiet man who loves everything about cars, Graham is not known for his talking or walking which is actually kind of ironic because his name appears in both words. Currently you will find him clicking on a mouse vigorously and uploading his passion all over the site.
