Ford knows how to do a good video. That’s good, considering it has some cool cars at the moment that are great to show off. The new Focus RS for example, or the Mustang. There’s the beefy Ranger, the iconic Transit or, um, the B Max?

Drone racing: surprisingly fast

B Max included, they’re all in this latest offering from Ford’s camera bods. Strangely, they’re also basically obstacles. Ford drones. Drone being piloted by two lads who look so young the probaly thing the RS is for old men. Drone racing stars Luke Bannister and Brett Collis might look nine, but that’s no bad thing? Ever seen a nine year-old on an iPad? Kids are tech savvy these days. Threading a high-speed drone through an open Transit is in no bother. Plus, as our Dad would say, it’s nice that they’re playing outside.

Drifty drifty…

“Dronekhana” was filmed at Ford’s European HQ in Cologne, Germany, the city that this week hosts Gamescom – Europe’s biggest interactive games trade fair. Ford, also this week, will target gaming GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title with the Ford GT supercar. Basically a load of nerds playing Forza. Which is less exciting to film by a country mile. They made the right choice to go with the drone lads.
