Simon Saunders of Ariel Motor Company

Simon Saunders had a long history as an automotive designer before he revived the Ariel name in the late Nineties. In its original form, the company built motorbikes during the early decades of the Twentieth Century, having invented the spoke-tension wheel.

Simon launched his radical Atom sports car in 2001 and hasn’t looked back, continually developing the concept.
