RM Sotheby’s holds its annual London sale at Battersea Evolution next month.

The catalogue only features a couple of really big hitters, top billing going to a 1958 Ferrari 250GT ‘Tour de France’ estimated at up to £5.5 million. But there are still plenty of lots that piques our interesting, including a number of very tiny Italian racing cars from obscure ‘etceterini’ manufacturers.

As RM sales go, most of the cars on offer are at the more affordable end of the collector car spectrum, but don’t go expecting many bargains. RM always attracts top quality cars and enthusiastic bidders with deep pockets.

Here’s a selection of what we would buy should our lottery numbers come up in the next few weeks.
