Vauxhall Corsa and Adam recall extended

In September Vauxhall announced it is recalling all Corsa and Adam cars built since May 2014 for a potential fault in the steering system.

Vauxhall announced today (6 October) that Vauxhall Corsa and Adam recall is being extended to cars built since February 2014. As before, Vauxhall is advising that any affected cars should not be driven until they are inspected.

Vauxhall is contacting owners of affected vehicles via the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency’s recognised recall process, using DVLA registration information.

Alternatively, owners can find out if their car is affected by visiting the Vauxhall website. They can also call Vauxhall Customer Assistance on 0800 026 0034 (0900 to 1900 Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1700 at weekends), or The AA on 0800 553388 (0700 to midnight, seven days a week).

Vauxhall first became aware of the problem during routine quality controls at the vehicle production plant.
