Rolls-Royce Phantom Sunrise is very pink

The extended wheelbase Rolls-Royce Phantom is an enormous car, 20 feet long, six-and-a-half feet wide and well over five feet tall. So you’ve got to really like pink if you want to see such a vast expanse of metal painted that particular colour.

Rolls calls this the Sunrise Phantom. It’s the latest product of the Bespoke division, built to a client’s brief. The fairy cake icing hue is a mix of pink and gold that, Rolls says, looks amazing under direct sunlight. Fitting, since it’s probably going to a country that gets more sunshine than the UK, at least.

All the interior leather is a similar colour to the exterior, with reddish piping. Blonde wood veneers are inlaid with the Phantom script and a gold leaf Spirit of Ecstasy motif.

Rolls-Royce has one of the most prolific in-house ‘personalisation’ departments in the industry. Out of the 4,000 or so cars it sells a year, only a small percentage don’t get some sort or attention from Rolls’s highly skilled craftsmen.

And they will do anything. Including mixing questionable shade of pink.
